Did you put BMX grips on the Yakuza (i need a name)? i only noticed the makeshift cuts when i was tuning the levers. Also, what size BB is it? the BB will probably need to be replaced in a year or two (depending on how many times i tear up Galby )

nah, it's a blindside. it only has a newer version of the shock mount compared to the old one connected to the top and downtube that supposedly was cracking constantly. the grand-mal frame looks a lot different everywhere else, including probably 10 times the rienforcement anyone would ever need. did i mention the gran-mal is canceled? hahaha

bottoming out shouldn't be the reason to get a new shock. bottoming out realy isn't all that bad for the bike or your time on the race course. shocks are able to take the hit more than people think. i bottom out somewhat often. i almost make sure to bottom out on a course just to make sure i'm using all the travel i can get. there's no poiint in having so much travel if you're not gong to use it all. wanting better suspension damping is a different story. that can make the bike feel better across the trail. whatever... good to hear you don't realy need the new shock. less work for me. what place did you get at the race?

nickf wrote
April 8, 2008 at 18:00
second place, behind first by half a second

what's wrong with it? i have a 99 vanilla rc and i'm cool. if you need the latest stuff that's cool. go to bti-usa.com to find what shocks i might possibly be able to get for you. chack the spacing of the shock also to make sure they have something that fits. i won't be able to do this at all until summer, but we'll see. think half price from what the shock would usually cost

the backgrounds blurry coz the focus is focused on the rider not the trees in the back ground.and there was some flash stand under that jump to give it more light coz what you cant see in that photo is that it aws spitting with rain and was very dark in the trees.

ragdoll wrote
